Summer Studies

"Thoughts For Young Men" | July 8-27, 2020 (7-12 grade boys)
In this small group study we will be reading through J.C. Ryle's book "Thoughts For Young Men". Although it was written in the mid 1800's the wisdom from this short book is just as transformative and practical for young men today as it was back then. It's definitely a must read for every boy that strives to become a real Man of God. During our time together we'll eat lunch and fellowship as we talk through the study guide that accompanies the book. The $10 cost of this study covers the price of the book which will be purchased for each boy that registers.

"This Changes Everything" | July 8 - 29, 2020 (7-12 grade girls)
This girls only small group study will be reading and discussing "This Changes Everything" by Jaquelle Crowe. Who knows the struggles, pressures, and expectations of teenagers better than a teenager? Well, this book, written by a teenager for teenagers, is deeply theological yet practical as it addresses how the Gospel transforms every aspect of the teen years. During their time together the girls will enjoy some yummy desserts as they talk through the details of what is covered in the pages of this book. The $10 cost of this study covers the price of the book which will be purchased for each girl that registers.

Summer Fun Activities

Outdoor Movie Night | July 10, 2020 | Even though the movie theaters are closed, it doesn't mean we can't go to the movies...Come and join us for a movie under the stars. This is a BYOC (Bring your own chair) and BYOMT (Bring your own movie treats) event. Water and soft-drinks will be provided!

Backyard Bash | July 25, 2020 | Join us for an awesome afternoon in the pool, playing yard games, and hanging out. We will have plenty of drinks and snacks for all!

Day at the Lake 2.0 | August 8, 2020 | Last year's day at the Lake was such a hit we couldn't help but do it again. We rented a private camp ground with a "beach," pavilion with picnic tables, and restrooms on Lake Texoma. You won't want to miss it!!!

Small Group "Night Out" | August 2020 | Believe it or not, our small group volunteers miss being with your students, so we wanted to make a point to get them all together before the school year kicks back off again. You student's small group leader will be contacting your student(s) to arrange a group night out sometime during the first week of August.
