The women's ministry of The Trails Church seeks to equip women with the gospel, encourage them in community, and empower them to live on mission.
Throughout the year, we offer Bible studies, book studies, fellowship events, and an annual retreat.
Fall 2021 Bible Study
Our 8-week study in Galatians is designed to help you grow as a worshipper of Christ as you read, understand, and respond to God's Word with other women in our church! We have two study options available and both will start on the week of 9.12 and end in early November:
- Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 8 pm at 229 on the Square in downtown Celina
- Friday mornings, 9:00 - 10:30 am at The Trails Church Campus
These studies are free to attend, but if you sign up, we ask that you attend each session, so that we can all have a great experience studying the Bible together! When registering, choose the option that works best for you. After you register, you will be invited into a group where you will have access to the specific dates and details of each session!
Spring 2021 Book Studies
Identity in Christ | Thursdays 10-11:30 AM | January 28 - February 25, 2021
This Book Study for women will feature two small books that are designed to root readers in their identity in Christ. The first book is Jerry Bridges' Who Am I? This book explores eight truths about Christian identity and why they matter for our daily lives. The second book is Freedom of Self Forgetfulness by Tim Keller. This short booklet helps flesh out the implications of being rooted in our true identity, namely that we become free to focus on others. This group will meet on Thursday mornings for five-weeks and will be led by Megan Ames.
Freedom of Self Forgetfulness is available at our bookstore at www.10ofthose.com/thetrails. Who Am I? is available on Amazon. Please order your books and begin reading before the first session.
With All Your Heart | Mondays 7-8:30 PM | January 25 - March 1, 2021
This Book Study for women will feature Christine Hoover's With All Your Heart. This book seeks to help readers recognize the various "kings" that try to rule over our hearts so that readers can experience the freedom and joy that comes from living under the loving reign of King Jesus. This book will equip you to better worship Christ with all of your heart in every area of life! This group will meet on Monday evenings for six weeks and be led by Elizabeth Gilbert.
You can find more information, including the study information, leader contact information, and a reading plan, in the "Resources" tab. To purchase your copy of the book, visit www.10ofthose.com/thetrails. Please order your book and begin reading before the first session.
