The Trails Church's missions strategy exists to encourage church members to take the Great Commission personally and to be effective partners in discipling neighbors in our community and among the nations.
We have a number of strategic partners in order to help mobilize our church in the mission of God, both local and global.
Local Missions Opportunities
Embrace Texas - Santa's Little Helper on December 2
Join us as we serve the foster and adoptive community of Collin County this holiday season with Embrace Texas by helping with Santa’s Little Helper for a fun, parents’ night out event on Saturday, December 2. The Trails is looking for 10–15 volunteers to serve together as we supervise the bounce house stations during the event from 3:45–9:30 PM. Invite a friend, sign up, and indicate on the form that you will be serving with The Trails Church!
Short-Term Mission Trip Opportunities
South Asia - November 2023
Dates: November 8-17, 2023
Cost: $3,300 Estimated Total from Texas ($1,300 + Airfare)
Children: Mature teenagers from 10th-12th grade who are accompanied by a parent may be eligible to go.
Take part in changing lives in South Asia by introducing vulnerable children to Jesus Christ. Though South Asia is often viewed as a peaceful place, poverty is prevalent and is a daily reality for millions living in this nation. On this trip, you’ll join the 25 Project’s ongoing ministry to children and families living in impoverished communities.
As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to visit a Mercy Home and serve at a three-day children's Bible Camp. You will form meaningful relationships with local children as you enjoy sports, games, crafts, worship, and Bible study together. Your life will be changed as God uses you to impact children in the 25 Project Sponsorship Ministry. The team will serve for one week, but Jesus Christ will change children for eternity. Join us as a messenger of the gospel in sharing the love of Christ and the hope found only in Him.
