Making Disciples in Community
Our goal at The Trails Church is to be a body of believers engaged in glorifying God by making disciples through the gospel, in community, and on mission. Community groups are one of the main ways we see this happen at The Trails. We believe that active involvement in community is important for your spiritual health as a part of this local church.
What to Expect
Groups are made up of men and women from all generations of life, who strive to consider each other’s needs over their own and spur each other toward godliness. Each group is filled with disciples who find their identity in Christ, who worship Jesus together, and who care for and counsel one another. Together, they live on mission to see more people know and glorify God through Jesus Christ.
Community groups usually consist of 8-15 adults who meet on a regular basis in someone’s home to study and discuss the Bible, pray for one another, care for one another, serve the local community, and share the Gospel with non-believers. Groups meet in neighborhoods throughout our area on various days of the week.
Join a Community Group
We have designed a simple, personal, and intentional process for helping you join a Community Group that will help you grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. To join a group or learn more, simply follow these steps:
1) Complete Our Join a Community Group Form. By completing this form, you'll help us understand what you need in a group and when you're available to meet.
2) Schedule your Community Group Consultation. After you complete the form, you'll receive a calendar link that will invite you to schedule a meeting with our Director of Discipleship to discuss joining a Community Group. At this meeting, you'll learn more about our groups' philosophy and culture, discuss what you're looking for and what groups are available, and at the end of the meeting, we'll place you in a group and connect you with your new leaders!
