One of the main questions every church has to think through is where they will meet. While a building is not actually the church, a building is a tremendous help in church planting. A good building makes it possible to gather people together and also reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Our Sunday Worship Location

When Boyer Elementary was announced to open coinciding with our need for a building in the Fall of 2018, we were excited and able to secure it as our first meeting location. Boyer is strategically placed in the heart of our community in the city of Celina and serving Prosper ISD. Just off the intersection of the Dallas North Tollway and Frontier Road, it will allow us to reach people from every direction.

While we won’t have our own building to begin with, this brand new facility will serve as our home on Sunday mornings. We will be using the cafeteria as our working chapel, and the gym and music room for Trails Kids. Of course, we will have to constantly be evaluating what works best for us as we set up and tear down each week.

Sunday Morning Address (beginning in September): 1616 Montgomery Lane, Celina, TX 75009

Our Church Offices

We also began praying for a place that we could use for ministry during the week. We are thankful to have our church offices at FUSE, a co-working commercial building in the heart of our community. FUSE will be not only our headquarters, but also house many small businesses in our community, including the Prosper Economic and Development Corporation and GraceBridge food bank, based in Celina.

FUSE will be home to our staff, as well as offer a place for discipleship meetings in the early morning and in the evenings. We will also have access to a room that will seat around fifty, where we can have membership classes, informational meetings, and other mid-size gatherings.

Office address: 130 North Preston Road, Prosper, TX 75078

The Most Important Thing

The most important thing is not where we meet, but who we meet when we gather together. First, we gather together to meet with God. Second, we gather together to encourage and strengthen one another, helping each other grow as disciples of Jesus. Finally, we gather together to proclaim in our teaching and singing, praying and giving, remembering and living, the good news of Jesus Christ.

Would you join me in giving thanks to God, the giver of every good gift, for these two facilities we will be able to use? Would you also pray that God uses them to see his kingdom spread in our community?

I look forward to seeing you, and seeing all God does at both Boyer Elementary and FUSE.
